The Collective– Quarterly, we join forces with several other black professional organizations in the Tampa bay and surrounding areas to socially network and introduce opportunities to potential talent and provide valuable industry developmental information to attendees. Scholarships

The Max Oligario Visionary Scholarship 

The Max Oligario Visionary Scholarship is awarded each academic school year to a deserving minority undergraduate and  graduate student that is pursuing a degree in business within the Tampa Bay Area. Each applicant’s  collegiate enrollment status must be in an accredited  business program by the Association to Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The 2015 Scholarship Packet will be available during the Spring semester.

Leaders of Tomorrow – LOT

Founded in 1991 at the NBMBAA’s® 13th Annual Conference and Exposition in New York, the Leaders of Tomorrow Program (LOT)® is an academic enrichment and leadership program serving high school students who demonstrate leadership potential. LOT students are provided with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and become better students through mentoring, cultural exposure, educational experiences and curriculum that is designed to help them become successful professionals. The LOT Program currently serves approximately 700 young adults, ages 14 – 18.

There are 32 LOT Chapters throughout the United States and Canada, and a contingency in London.

Mentor a promising youth; share the knowledge you have acquired; put your fingerprint on the next generation of professionals through the NBMBAA Leaders of Tomorrow® program.

We are in need mentors who are available to tutor, lead workshops, chaperone students on college tours and to the NBMBAA Annual Conference, and administer scholarship programs for college-bound students. To volunteer or additional information email LOT@tampabaybmbaa.org
